Jason Alguram is a partner of the East Brunswick, New Jersey law firm Levine, Furman, Rubin & Alguram, LLC.
Since he began his career in law, Jason has narrowed his focus to Elder Law and Special Needs Planning. Jason has been assisting seniors with Long Term Care, Medicaid Planning and Estate Planning. In addition, Jason is also certified by the Veterans Administration to assist with Aid and Attendance Benefits.
Before joining our firm, Mr. Alguram was an associate attorney with a major Union County law firm focusing mainly on Tax, Estate Planning and Elder Law. Prior to that, he practiced in Michigan with one of the most prestigious Elder Law and Estate Planning law firms in the state. Jason is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Michigan and is a member of the various Bar Associations. Jason was included in the 2017 Super Lawyers List published in New Jersey Monthly*, of which only 2.5% of attorneys in New Jersey are named.
Jason completed his undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Rutgers University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He attended the Western Michigan Cooley Law School, where he graduated with honors. Throughout his law school education Jason also clerked for an Elder Law firm and conducted his externship at the Sixty-Plus Estate Planning clinic where he assisted seniors and Veterans with estate planning and long term care issues.
Jason is a member of the Youth Professional Advisory Council for Alzheimer’s New Jersey and he is also a member of the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI).
Jason is a New Jersey native who grew up in Bergen County. He currently lives in Edgewater. Jason enjoys fishing and spending time at the gym.
